A Happy New Year to all! Having just recently found this community, I will hopefully be adding more and more photography in 2013.
Spring Equinox 2013May the change of the seasons bring forth abundance into your lives, may the renewal of the life force flow into each of your hearts and minds and bodies to bring health, healing, growth and self discovery. May all that you need be there for you when you need it, and may you each find your balance with the life of the earth. May you find that journey that is deepest in your heart and that calls you to the forest, mountains, sea or desert, that burns deep in your spirit and brings you naked to face yourself in the most exquisite and precious planet we call home.Spring Equinox 2013 by skiesofchaos
Was up and doing sage and candle ceremony for the blessings of my friends and family at 7:02 AM EDT, the crossing of the meridian. Was good to be up and about and get a good stretch and chai tea with a bit of local honey.
In other news, if you happen to be in Second Life, you should come by the Isle of Wryms for our Equinox Hatching, where the adult dragons will be once again available. Bring cookies for the hatchlings though, t
Photographer based in Williamstown, NJ. Love portraiture of all types, but am especially drawn to figure and facial studies, character based photography, and the sensual essence of the human form.|
The photograph as an art form is still finding its footing, however the impact of photographs on people's lives is very apparent in popular culture. I, as a photographer, want to present pieces that make people think - whether it is about sexuality and age, or a particular emotion of a particular place. I like to connect with people's hearts with my art.
My current photo project, "Venerates", is an aesthetic and sensual series of photographs of mature gay men, most of whom are over fifty years old. This is their time to shine, to show the world that they can be attractive and should be listened to. As the wise men of the Gay community, these men have endured many different hardships based purely on how Homosexuality was seen back when they were growing up. Currently, the younger "Out" generation really ignores these men, who are too "old" and "ugly" to have any positive qualities. These photos will hopefully show their many different sensitive (and sensual) personalities, and body-types...showcasing their interior and exterior beauty.
Recently I have become anthro-curious, as a friend of mine has opened my eyes to the furry fandom and its interesting art.
