Photographer based in Williamstown, NJ. Love portraiture of all types, but am especially drawn to figure and facial studies, character based photography, and the sensual essence of the human form.
The photograph as an art form is still finding its footing, however the impact of photographs on people's lives is very apparent in popular culture. I, as a photographer, want to present pieces that make people think - whether it is about sexuality and age, or a particular emotion of a particular place. I like to connect with people's hearts with my art.
My current photo project, "Venerates", is an aesthetic and sensual series of photographs of mature gay men, most of whom are over fifty years old. This is their time to shine, to show the world that they can be attractive and should be listened to. As the wise men of the Gay community, these men have endured many different hardships based purely on how Homosexuality was seen back when they were growing up. Currently, the younger "Out" generation really ignores these men, who are too "old" and "ugly" to have any positive qualities. These photos will hopefully show their many different sensitive (and sensual) personalities, and body-types...showcasing their interior and exterior beauty.
Recently I have become anthro-curious, as a friend of mine has opened my eyes to the furry fandom and its interesting art.
